The Clinical Intern will work within a team setting with other 1 Method staff members of the clinical team to facilitate the prompt and efficient delivery of services.<\/p>\n<p><b>DUTIES &amp; ESSENTIAL\u00a0 FUNCTIONS<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee documentation in the clinical section of each client chart and QA for deficiencies.<\/li>\n<li>Attends and participates in clinical team meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains a caseload of 10-15 clients.<\/li>\n<li>Completes clinical assessment and treatment plan for assigned clients.<\/li>\n<li>Initiates discharge planning upon admission for assigned clients, and updates discharge plan weekly.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitates comprehensive evaluation and diagnostic summary for assigned clients.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitates multi-disciplinary treatment planning and updates for assigned clients<\/li>\n<li>Individual sessions for all assigned clients.<\/li>\n<li>Group counseling, education, and meetings per program schedule.<\/li>\n<li>Family\/conjoint therapy as specified in individual client&#8217;s treatment plans.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinates treatment objectives for assigned clients with pertinent staff.<\/li>\n<li>Documents clinical progress notes in client\u2019s electronic medical record.<\/li>\n<li>Participates in Quality Improvement task groups.<\/li>\n<li>Participates in in-service training, individual\/group supervision meetings, and counselor\/staff interface meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate with staff via Communication Log and client&#8217;s record to maximize utilization of milieu in supporting the client&#8217;s treatment plan.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures client records for assigned caseload are comprehensive, complete, neat, and meet licensing standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"panel-footer st\">\n<p><strong>Internship and CEUs<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Whether you are a seasoned counselor in need of continuing education units or a student in need of formal supervision and internship, we can help.
