If you’ve been charged with or pleaded guilty to a DUI or drug-related offence in Georgia, state law requires you to complete a DUI Class, also known as the Risk Reduction Program, before your driver’s license can be reinstated. Who Is Required to Attend

Georgia state law requires DUI class attendance for individuals charged with or convicted of:

The program must be completed at a school certified and licensed by the Georgia Department of Driver’s Services (DDS). AACS Atlanta is a DDS-certified provider listed on the official DDS website.

Step 1 — The Assessment

Before enrolling in the 20-hour course, Georgia state law requires you to complete an assessment first.

Assessment fee: $100.00 (fee set by Georgia state law)

You must complete the assessment before you can register for the 20-hour DUI class.

Step 2 — The 20-Hour Risk Reduction DUI Course

After completing the assessment, you’ll attend the 20-hour in-class DUI class, also called the Risk Reduction Program.

Course fee: $260.00 ($235.00 class fee + $25.00 book fee — set by Georgia state law)

Full payment is required on or before the first day of class.
