The Anger Management Class at AACS Atlanta is designed to help you understand your anger, identify its triggers, and develop healthier ways to respond without it costing you your relationships, your job, or your freedom. Classes are available in person at our Atlanta, Marietta, and Decatur offices, and 100% online for clients anywhere in Georgia.
Georgia courts and probation departments accept our anger management classes as an approved program for individuals facing misdemeanour or felony charges involving anger-related conduct. Clients also voluntarily enroll to get ahead of patterns they recognise as damaging their lives.
Anger is a natural emotion. Everyone experiences it at different frequencies and intensities. Biologically, anger is an instinctive response to a perceived threat. It becomes a problem when the reaction is disproportionate to the situation or leads to destructive behaviour, damaged relationships, workplace difficulties, or legal trouble.
The goal of anger management isn’t to eliminate anger. That’s neither realistic nor possible. The goal is to learn how to cope with it and express it in a way that doesn’t cost you something important.
AACS Atlanta’s Anger Management Class addresses the full picture of anger, how it works, where it comes from, and how to respond to it differently:
The Anger Management Class at AACS Atlanta serves two groups.
Courts and probation departments across Georgia order this class for individuals whose charges involve anger-driven conduct, including domestic-related cases, assault charges, and other misdemeanour or felony offences. Individuals also attend voluntarily, recognising that their anger patterns are damaging their relationships, limiting their professional growth, or putting them at risk of future legal consequences.
Regardless of why you’re here, every participant receives the same structured, professionally facilitated educational experience with official completion documentation issued by AACS Atlanta upon program completion.
