Alcohol and Drug Evaluation Marietta

Why Georgia Residents Trust AACS Atlanta for Every Alcohol and Drug Evaluation

When your freedom, your license, or your future is on the line, you cannot afford to work with just anyone. An Alcohol and Drug Evaluation is one of the most consequential steps in the legal and recovery process, and where you get it done matters enormously. At AACS Atlanta (American Alternative Court Services), we have spent over 25 years earning the trust of individuals, families, attorneys, and courts across Georgia. Whether you are in Marietta, Decatur, Atlanta, or anywhere else in the state, we are your go-to local source for professional, court-accepted evaluations.

What Is an Alcohol and Drug Evaluation and Why Do You Need One?

An alcohol and drug evaluation is a clinical assessment conducted by a licensed professional to determine the nature and severity of an individual’s relationship with alcohol or controlled substances. Courts, employers, the Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS), immigration authorities, and the Department of Transportation (DOT) all require these evaluations for a wide range of situations.

Including:

  • DUI or DWI charges: Georgia law requires a court-mandated evaluation before sentencing or license reinstatement
  • Probation and parole compliance: judges order evaluations as a condition of sentencing
  • Child custody and DFCS cases: evaluations assess parental fitness and substance use history
  • Employment and DOT/SAP compliance: federally regulated industries require Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) evaluations
  • Immigration hardship waiver cases; evaluations support legal documentation for immigration proceedings
  • Voluntary self-assessment: individuals seeking treatment guidance or personal clarity

Whatever has brought you to this point, a professional Alcohol and Drug Evaluation in Marietta or anywhere in Georgia through AACS Atlanta ensures your results are accurate, credible, and respected by the courts.

Why Local Residents in Marietta Choose AACS Atlanta

When Marietta residents search for an alcohol and drug evaluation in Marietta, they quickly discover that not all evaluation centers are created equal. Here is why our local community consistently chooses AACS Atlanta over competitors:

1. Over 25 Years of Trusted Experience in Georgia

Experience is not just a credential it is the difference between an evaluation that gets accepted and one that gets challenged. Our clinical team has conducted thousands of evaluations across Georgia, and our deep familiarity with local court systems, judges, and probation offices means your results carry weight. When your attorney walks into a Cobb County courtroom, an AACS Atlanta evaluation speaks for itself.

2. Same-Day and Next-Day Appointments Available

Legal timelines wait for no one. A court date, a license reinstatement deadline, or a custody hearing can require you to move fast. AACS Atlanta offers same-day appointment availability, which means you do not have to wait days or weeks while your situation hangs in the balance. We understand urgency, and we are structured to respond to it.

3. Licensed, Credentialed Clinical Professionals

Our evaluators are not administrators behind a desk they are licensed doctors, certified counselors, social workers, and clinicians who have dedicated their careers to substance abuse assessment and treatment. Every alcohol and drug evaluation at AACS Atlanta is conducted according to ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) criteria, ensuring clinical accuracy and legal validity. Our team also includes Substance Abuse Professionals (SAPs) certified for DOT compliance.

4. Bilingual Services in English and Spanish

Georgia’s communities are diverse, and so is our team. We offer evaluations and counseling services in both English and Spanish. Removing language barriers that might otherwise prevent someone from getting the help and documentation they need. This commitment to accessibility is one of the many reasons local residents across Marietta and metro Atlanta trust us.

5. Comprehensive Services Under One Roof

Most evaluation centers offer only a narrow set of services. AACS Atlanta is a full-service behavioral health and counseling organization. Beyond the Alcohol and Drug Evaluation, we offer DUI clinical evaluations, anger management evaluations, mental health assessments, DFCS assessments, and child custody fitness assessments. Immigration hardship waiver assessments and DOT SAP evaluations all in one place. If your case requires follow-up counseling, ASAM-level classes, or a DUI risk reduction program. Or outpatient rehab, we handle that too. This continuity of care streamlines your legal process and ensures consistent documentation from evaluation through completion.
